Get To Know Me
TLDR: I’m a nerd for all things story and game development
I’ve been obsessed with stories and games for as long as I can remember. It all started way back when my uncle brought over his ATARI along with an F1 racing game. I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve played and owned almost every console and handheld I can get my hands on. My favourite genre would definitely be RPG with SNES and PS1 being the golden era for that genre.
I dabbled in game-making since I first discovered Game Maker way back in early 2000. I made simple sprites and rooms for my characters to walk around in.
It wasn’t long before I moved on to RPG Maker. I started with RM2K and have used every iteration since. While I loved the software, the coding aspect of Ruby and Javascript along with my lack of talent when it came to drawing, restricted me.
Moving forward to today, I’m studying Computer Science and Creative and Professional Writing. I use my spare time to improve my art, programming, and writing skills so that I can finish and release a full game.
My motto is: There are an infinite number of things to learn and an equal number of ways to learn them.
